SKILLS:

•        Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD), by hand using scales, templates, protractors, triangles and other drafting devices.

•        Draw plans, diagrams, and profiles, utilizing cross-sections, surveys and GIS data to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations and structures.

•        Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects such as highways, sewage disposal systems, and treatment facilities, working from sketches or notes.

•        Determine the order of work and method of presentation, such as plan and profile drawings.

•        Finish, publish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages, according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction using blueprinting, photography, or other duplicating methods.

•        Review rough sketches, field notes, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts and company engineering standards.

•        Correlate, interpret, and modify data obtained from topographical surveys, well logs, and geotechnical data and reports.

•        Estimating, determine cost and quantity of required materials, and enter figures on materials lists or tables.

•        Project and time management to organize multiple design projects utilizing cost affective techniques to ensure meeting deadlines and maintaining quality of work.

•        Maintain data files, ftp site, backups and archiving of construction documents and related project documentation.

•        Maintain inventory, equipment, computers and plotters on a consistent basis to ensure daily operations and work production.
